The requirement for the TS&P intranet was that it needed to be informative, content rich yet simple to use in order to help increase user adoption within the firm.
Our approach was to embrace the core colour palette of pillar box red and suite of greys and adopt a brutally simple organisational structure with bold icon based sign-posting to aid navigation.
We avoided the use of stereotypical rendering and shading of buttons, but instead, worked on the premise that users no longer needed a 3D representation of an object to tell them that something is ‘clickable’. The results were stunningly simple, producing an easy to navigate environment whilst retaining the core attributes on the firm’s corporate identity.
