Linklaters’ Infrastructure report examined the potential for future infrastructure deals, their relative value and rate of return, and how much risk investors were willing to accept to keep deals flowing.

Because the report is text heavy, a strong underlying grid was designed to structure the content. To support the copy, we developed a compelling visual language based on  connotations of existing infrastructure, such as threads, fabric, rebar, pipes, transmission lines, networks and transport routes.

Bold numbers and graphics draw on the idea of wayfinding and environmental icons, whilst graphics with right angle turns reference the need for investors to look at markets that they might previously have ignored. A muted palette completes a sleek, industrial feel.
